About Janice
Janice is a qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher who received her training from the prestigious Mindfulness Center at Brown University. In addition to her expertise in MBSR, she is a dedicated practitioner, a RYT® 200 yoga teacher trained in tantric yoga at ISHTA Yoga in NYC, and a certified Master Spiritual Life Coach. Janice's diverse qualifications and deep commitment to mindfulness and spiritual growth make her a trusted guide on the journey to inner peace and self-discovery.
Her journey began in Shanghai, China, where she was born and raised. At the age of 16, she relocated to Singapore and eventually found herself in the United States. Initially pursuing her dreams in the fashion industry at FIT, she spent several years in the Fashion/Media industry, including an impressive 7-year tenure at the renowned magazine, The Economist. However, Janice's true calling beckoned her in a different direction—one that aligned with her spiritual nature.
A natural spiritualist, Janice's fascination with the meaning of life and profound philosophical topics has always guided her path. She is a devoted Buddhist and an avid reader, particularly drawn to spirituality books. Through reading and contemplation, Janice has gained invaluable insights into the world and the human experience. Her unwavering commitment to meditation has allowed her to connect with her higher self and receive divine messages from the source.
